Setting Up Webhooks

01

Register Your Endpoint

Add your webhook URL in the Developer Dashboard or via the API. You can register multiple endpoints.

02

Verify Signature

Every webhook includes an X-VetandPay-Signature header. Verify it using your webhook secret to ensure authenticity.

03

Handle Events

Process the event payload in your application. Respond with a 2xx status code within 10 seconds.

04

Retry Policy

Failed deliveries are retried up to 5 times with exponential backoff (1min, 5min, 30min, 2hr, 24hr).

Security Tip: Always verify the webhook signature before processing any event. This prevents spoofed requests from triggering actions on your server.
